Volunteers - contact your local newspaper

Sharing your ICS story with your local media can boost your fundraising, support your Action at Home, increase support for international development and inspire others to tackle poverty.

  • Perhaps you want to promote your fundraising efforts to your local community to get some donations in?
  • Maybe you want to help people learn through your own journey what the reality of poverty and international development is?
  • Or what if you want to find support for your Action at Home project?

Our online press release tool (below) allows you to get your story in front of journalists. We ask you questions, you tell us the answers, then your story gets sent to the news desks of your local papers. It's that simple.

We work with print, broadcast and online journalists and can provide comment and case studies on a range of issues relating to young people and development.

We focus on the important role young people play in fighting poverty, changing communities for the better and the skills they gain through volunteering.
